Our standard consultations are 20 minutes, allowing plenty of time for a thorough ‘nose to tail’ clinical examination and a good chat about your pet.

Our pledge: Greener veterinary practice

One Health

Dog paw and human hand are doing handshake

We believe that the health of people, animals and the environment are all linked and must be considered as one. That’s why we hold our work on sustainability and preserving local ecosystems as central to our ethos as a veterinary practice.

Be sustainable in our operation

Every aspect of the practice is continually scrutinised to find new ways to improve our 'green' performance including insulation and low-energy lighting, using a renewable energy supplier, reducing waste, and offering specialist recycling of items we cannot avoid such as medicine blister packs.

Support local conservation

supporting local community image

We are passionate about making a positive impact within our community and beyond, supporting a number of conservation projects both locally and globally such as the British Trust for Ornithology’s ground breaking radio-tracking to reveal the mystery of the migration of cuckoos.

Use medicines responsibly

We will only prescribe medication when necessary, and never without considering other forms of treatment, such as weight loss to alleviate arthritis and taking lifestyle into account before recommending parasite treatments.

Discover more about our birdsong

This magnificent dawn chorus was recorded by Phill at 5am on the 5th of May 2013 in Pond Copse, Chiddingfold. Prominent among the many calls are those of the cuckoo and chiff chaff, birds that fly thousands of miles to breed in the UK, but return in fewer numbers every year. Find out why, and how you can help by visiting the British Trust for Ornithology.
